Stacey Yvonne Claytor is the proud Founder and CEO of C4 Performing Arts in Fairfax, VA. She is a passionate and dedicated performing artist, arts educator, and arts advocate. Stacey studied at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater and Dance from James Madison University, and a Master of Fine Arts degree from The George Washington University. As a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Stacey always seeks opportunities to serve in her community. She is constantly working with her students to not only fill them with a love and appreciation for the arts, but to cultivate in them, a strong sense of family and social responsibility as well as empower them to become the leaders of tomorrow. In addition to serving full time as the Founder/CEO of C4 Performing Arts, Stacey also serves as a program coordinator for the Greater Little Zion Ministry of Music and Performing Arts and she is a proud board member of Guardian Baltimore and the City of Fairfax Theater Company. She has always been and will remain steadfast in her commitment to harnessing the transformative power of the arts to help positively impact her community and ultimately the world! Stacey is thrilled to be one of the featured choreographers in Out of the Box/Into the World, a shared concert, and is grateful to premiere two news works in the inaugural performance of her new professional group, Claytor Company. When asked in a 2013 interview, why she chose to be an artist, Ms. Claytor answered simply, "I am an artist...why, because it is my joy, it is my peace, it liberates and sustains me."

Ashley Sese
|
Ashley Sese was born and raised in Woodbridge, Virginia, where she trained at Dance Etc. School of the Arts. In 2022, she received her BFA in Dance and Choreography with a Minor in Marketing Insights at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Since a young age, she has had extensive training in ballet, contemporary, tap, modern, and jazz. Ashley has performed in works by choreographers such as Mike Tyus, Julie Magneville, Sinclair Emoghene, and Christy Funsch. She also has completed Christopher K. Morgan's Winter Intensive, Alonzo King Lines Ballet's Summer Program, and Peridance's Blueprint Summer Intensive. Currently, Ashley is a member of After Shock Dance Company and has been a member of Claytor Company since 2023. Her most recent work includes The Arlington Players' award winning "Newsies" (Dance Corps, Newsies Ensemble, Scab 1) and "Singin' in the Rain" (Ensemble). When not dancing, Ashley is a Digital Marketing Specialist at Planned Systems International, Inc. and Director of Marketing for C4 Performing Arts.

Carrie Monger
|
Carrie Monger received a Minor in Dance from James Madison University and a Masters in Counseling from the College of William and Mary. She has been dancing professionally in the Metro DC area since 2001. She has performed extensively, both nationally and internationally with a variety of choreographers including David Dorfman, Israeli choreographer Amir Kolben, Jane Franklin, Deborah Riley and Kelly Bond. She is currently a member and Assistant Director of UpRooted Dance, a member of Human Landscape Dance, and an original member of Claytor Company since its founding in 2021. Carrie has choreographed and collaborated with other performing arts companies and visual artists in the area. She currently works as a Movement Artist in Residence with Georgetown Lombardi Arts and Humanities Program at the Medstar Georgetown University Hospital

Hermione Rhones
|
Hermione Rhones is a native Washingtonian with 25+ years of experience as a teaching and performing artist. She currently teaches performing arts and yoga at the Montessori School of Northern Virginia. Since childhood she has studied various forms of movement including: ballet, tap, various modern dance techniques, jazz, and West African dance. She has performed with Adrain Bolton, Tony Powell Music & Movement, Images in Cultural Artistry (directed by Sherrill Berryman Johnson), Carla & Co. (Directed by Sylvia Soumah). Hermione's solo works have combined her love of spoken word artistry with her passion for movement and she has enjoyed performing and/or teaching at various performance venues, schools, community centers and churches throughout the area. She has written a book of poetry entitled Naked, published in 2013. Hermione is also an advocate of the healing arts. She teaches yoga, meditation, and water aerobics. Finally, she loves to upcycle garments and create original crochet accessories and occasionally sells her creations under the alias Accents by H. Hermione feels compelled to live and love artistically every day and strives to be a source of upliftment in her family, community, and in the world at large.

Rachael Fine
|
Rachael Fine graduated from Elon University in May 2010 with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography and a minor in Exercise and Sport Science. She has been dancing since the age of 4 and has trained with Fredericksburg School of Performing Arts, Orange School of Performing Arts, the Rock School of Ballet Summer Intensive, and Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company. Her technique training includes Music Theatre, Contemporary, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, Tap, African, Hip-Hop, and Irish Step-Dancing. In addition to performing with Claytor Company, Rachael is an elementary school teacher in Arlington, Virginia and teaches yoga with VIDA Fitness in D.C. She is an active member in the DMV’s community theater scene; in fact, she met Stacey Yvonne Claytor performing opposite her as Kathy Selden in Signin’ in the Rain in Spring of 2023! Rachael is honored to have the opportunity to dance and perform with the talented, dedicated, and generous dancers and choreographers of Claytor Company!

Stefanie Quinones Bass
|
Stefanie Quinones Bass has danced professionally in the DC area since 2001. She was a long-time company member of Jane Franklin Dance, Daniel Burkholder?The Playground, and BosmaDance. She has also worked with Keira Hart/Uprooted Dance, Banished Productions, Carrie Monger, and other artists. Stefanie is an original member of Claytor Company and has been actively performing with the company since its founding in the winter of 2021. Stefanie is a social work supervisor by day and has two young dancers, ages 11 and 13 who are proud members of the C4 Performing Arts Family.

Tori Unterberger
|
Tori grew up dancing in Woodbridge, Virginia at Dance Etc. School of the Arts, where she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary styles. She started opera training at the age of 12 and performed under Nicole Lamm for 4 years. She is a graduate of George Mason University with an M.A. in Arts Management. She holds a B.F.A. in Dance from Radford University with minors in Business Administration and Theater Performance. Other studies include: New York City’s STEPS on Broadway Summer Intensive, CKM&A Intensives, and Regional Theater: Theater West Virginia: Footloose (Cowgirl)and Hatfields & McCoys (Nancy McCoy). Other musical theater credits include Oklahoma!, Anything Goes, Cat in The Hat, and Premiered Keep This for Me by Amy VanKirk and Tommy Iafrante. Currently, Victoria is the Front of House and Community Inclusion Manager for the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas where she advocates for accessibility in the arts space. She is the Modern Dance Director at Ordway Conservatory of Classical Ballet where she teaches all modern levels and ballet. She has been dancing professionally in Northern VA/DC since 2019.

Virginia Driggers
|
Ginny began her dance education at the age of 8 in the genres of Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, and Hip Hop. She went on to dance in events such as the DC Cherry Blossom Parade, and college bowl halftime shows as a back up performer for artists Jake Owens and Nico&Vinz. She also choreographed for numerous high school choral and musical theatre productions. She graduated from James Madison University in 2020 with a BA in Dance. Since graduating she has began teaching a variety of dance styles at Dance Etc. School of the Arts in Woodbridge, VA. She has also choreographed for PWC events. She feels very blessed to be a company dancer in both Next Reflex Dance Collective and Claytor Company.

Zena Nguon
|
Zena Nguon started her dance career at the age of 6, having trained in ballet, jazz, modern, and tap. She graduated from James Madison University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Teaching Licensure in Dance Education. Since then, she has taught and choreographed around the DMV area, started a dance, music, and movement program at Inquisiminds Enrichment School, and taken on the role of studio manager at C4 Performing Arts. She is so honored to be a part of Claytor Company and to work with other dancers of the DMV area.
